Alec & Bradley Gatekeeper

Gatekeper is the second release from Alec and Bradley after the Blind Faith (Limited Edition). On this project, they worked together with the ‘Godfather’ of cigars, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo of Tabacalera La Alianza in Santiago at his factory in the Dominican Republic.

With the Gatekeeper, they have opened the gates to new tobaccos and experiences. Ernesto has given the Rubin brothers the opportunity to grow as second-generation cigar makers. It comes in four vitolas; Corona, Robusto, Toro and Gordo.

Alec and Bradley Rubin, the namesake of father Alan Rubin’s Alec Bradley Cigar Co., are heading to the Dominican Republic for their next cigar project. Ernesto Perez-Carrilo is also the owner of EPC Cigar Co.

The line uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper and Nicaraguan binder, with the fillers coming from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. It is being made at Carrillo’s Tabacalera La Alianza S.A. factory in the Dominican Republic and will be available in four sizes:

Alec & Bradley Gatekeeper Corona (5 1/8″ x 42)

Alec & Bradley Gatekeeper Robusto (5″ x 50)

Alec & Bradley Gatekeeper Toro (6″ x 52)

Alec & Bradley Gatekeeper Gordo (6″x 60)

Each of the sizes will be packed in 20-count boxes.

This is a great blend of perfectly aged tobaccos from Nicaragua, Ecuador and Dominican Republic.
