Archetype Crystals from Ventura

The cigar shops and retailers humidor has an additional collection from Ventura Cigar Company; there are a miniseries of Archetype Fantasy.

This new line of miniseries made its debut at the 2018 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show in Las Vegas.

The miniseries consists of three cigars: Crystals, Curses and Cloaks.

Each cigars sizes is 5 inches long by 50 ring gauge (Robusto) and package in wood box of 20 sticks.  Every cigar also has different blends.

According to the Ventura Cigars Co. statement; this line of miniseries inspired by the musings of Carl Jung and Joseph Campbell over the recurring characters and themes in a hero’s journey.

Archetype Crystal blended uses Nicaraguan habano filler and binder, wrapping with Nicaraguan sun-grown habano.

Curses use the same filler and binder but the wrapper uses a Connecticut broadleaf. And the last, Cloacks it did not mention about the origin of broadleaf wrapper, placed over Nicaraguan habano binder and Nicaraguan fillers before getting a square press.

The Fantasy miniseries build on the line by adding “mysteriously interesting details to its overarching tale”.  All the cigars are hand-rolled at the Oliva Cigars factory, Tabacalera Oliva de Nicaragua S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua.

Before the release the miniseries of Crystal, Curses and Cloaks, Archetype Cigars already have five premium blends in their exciting portfolio: Dreamstate, Sage Advice, Strange Passage, Initiation and Axis Mundi, it began in 2016.

Ventura produces these psychologically themed sticks at three different factories located in three different countries. Dreamstate and Sage Advice are rolled at the renowned Davidoff facility in the Dominican Republic, while Strange Passage produced in Honduras.

Initiation and Axis Mundi are produced at La Gran Fabrica in Nicaragua, home to the wildly popular Drew Estate cigar. The miniseries of new Archetype line (Crystals, Curses, and Cloaks) announced in 2018 as an extension the previous one.

The Fantasy series come unique thoroughly banded with a large foot band covering the entire mid-section and foot of the cigar under the main band up top.

Each of the 3 cigars foot bands displays a different design and colors that is intended to represent its unique chapter of the story. The Crystals has a wizard-like figure with a crystal ball on it.
