Black Label Trading Company has announced the annual release of Santa Muerte. The 2019 release of this cigar is handcrafted in Estelí, Nicaragua, at Black Label Trading Company’s own factory in Fabrica Oveja Negra.
Black Label Trading Company creates hand crafted premium cigars of the utmost quality in small batch or highly limited quantities.
Their products exclusively for the cigar lovers. The reasons they made in very limited quantities is to allow them to meticulously select the finest tobacco from the richest tobacco plant regions of Nicaragua, Honduras, Mexico and Ecuador.
With that reasons, they allow their master blender, expert grower and hand rollers in the factory to produce utterly unique cigars of unsurpassed quality and flavor.
That approach policy to bring the cigar-maker replaces the standard cigar experience with the Black Label Cigar Experience.
The Factory – Oveja Negra
As the name suggests, Oveja Negra (in English: Black Sheep), does things differently. This factory only focused on production small batch of premium cigars with attention to detail. They offer their clients a factory where small batch production is the norm, and quality is the priority for them.
The factory managed and operates by James and Angela Brown lives full-time in Nicaragua managing operations. They start their factory in 2015 was a natural progression.
They are intent a freedom to have a creative as possible and have an ownership of every process that goes into making their cigars.
This year’s Santa Muerte will feature an Ecuador Habano wrapper and binder, and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Mexico and the U.S (6 filler tobaccos).
The smoker will have a new experience layer upon layer of coffee, malt, spice and cocoa. According to James Brown, a creator of BLTC and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra; “The name of the cigar suggests there is a Day of the Dead tribute to honor those we have lost.”
The cigar will be presented in two different vitolas: 5 ½” long by 48 ring gauge Corona Gorda and a 4 ¾” long by 52 ring gauge Short Robusto.
“We have gone out of the box with Santa Muerte. It features Broadleaf, San Andres, Dominican and Nicaraguan tobacco among the 6 filler tobaccos.
