Hair of the Dog is a limited edition project of Diesel cigar, released by General Cigar this year. It is collaboration between General Cigar and AJ Fernandez, with a help of brand manager Justin Andrews.
Diesel itself is a brand under General Cigar portfolio that has been gaining considerable traction over the past two years.
Hair of the Dog blending and rolled at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez in Estelí, Nicaragua. AJ Fernandez for many years produced cigar for Diesel brand, Cigar International and its distributor arm Meier & Dutch that owned by Scandinavian Tobacco Group – parent company of General Cigar.
Diesel brand moved into General Cigar’s portfolio in 2017, following by the widely successful Diesel Whiskey Row in 2018.
