Mombacho Cosecha 2014

Cosecha 2014 is the third series of Mombacho Cigars S.A. limited edition Cosecha cigar.  Cosecha is a Spanish word for “harvest”.  Every Cosecha series released by Mombacho in consider with the best of Nicaraguan tobaccos from a specific harvest year.

Vintage Limited Edition Cosecha 2014 features prime quality Nicaragua tobacco solely from a 2014 crop release in one size 6 inches long by 52 ring gauge “Toro” with pigtail cap. The cigar has been aging at the Mombacho Cigars S.A. factory’s Casa Favilli in Grenada, Nicaragua since 2014. This edition only produced 750 boxes and every box consists of 10 stick.

The annual Cosecha cigar series started since 2017 by releasing the Mombacho Cosecha 2012.  Mombacho Cosecha cigars are a Nicaraguan vintage Puros, puro means all the tobacco comes from the same year they have been aging after being rolled. That is why the series named as Cosecha or harvest. Cosecha 2014 rolled in the year 2016 uses all tobacco from 2014 harvest.

The Company.  Mombacho Cigars S.A. using a name of majestic volcano Mombacho in Grenada. The volcano last active in 1570, according to the story, the first erupted is 20.000 years ago. Creating a hundreds of islets that dot the surrounding waters below its peak.  It is this event that inspired the volcano’s name, which means “Mother of our land” in the local verb.  Mombacho Cigars S.A. establish in 2010.
